Measures applied in Iberocenter

What is the main product focus?

The main focus is company information: legal name, company RUT, entity type, filings, documents, registry relationships, and information useful for due diligence, compliance, and business intelligence.

People are shown only when they appear linked to companies in official or corporate sources. We do not aim to operate as a general people search engine.

What do we do with natural-person RUT values?

Natural-person RUT values are masked on the public surface. Full RUT values are reserved for registered users when needed to correctly identify a corporate relationship.

Company RUT values remain visible because they are public identifiers required to search and distinguish companies.

Which data is behind authorized access?

Fields such as address, nationality, occupation, and marital status for natural persons are not shown publicly. When present in sources, they are available only under paid or authorized access and a verifiable corporate purpose.

Contact data, when present, is also treated as protected information and is not published openly.

Are person pages indexed by Google?

No. Person pages and people listings are kept out of the sitemap and marked noindex. This reduces exposure of personal profiles in search engines and preserves their use inside corporate context.

Company profiles, SII lookup, and the RUT generator may remain indexable because they serve a direct business-information purpose.

Sources and requests

Where does Iberocenter get information from?

We use public and official sources such as the Registro de Empresas y Sociedades, Servicio de Impuestos Internos, Diario Oficial, and other public-access registries when applicable.

Iberocenter does not replace the official source. If there is a discrepancy, the official source controls.

How can I request review, correction, or deindexing?

Use the data request form and include the exact URL, the challenged data, your relationship with the person or company, and the measure requested.

We may ask for reasonable identity or authority verification before modifying, hiding, disclosing, or deindexing information.

Does Iberocenter remove information only because someone threatens legal action?

We do not remove public company information only because of a threat or discomfort. We review identity, source, accuracy, proportionality, purpose, and risk.

The decision may be to correct, hide a field, mask data, apply noindex, deindex a URL, or keep the information with a reasoned basis.

Google and search engines

Can Iberocenter remove a URL from Google immediately?

Iberocenter can change content, remove a page, apply noindex, or request removal through Search Console when it administers the property. Google controls its own index, and changes can take time to appear.

We do not recommend robots.txt as the main solution for removing an already indexed URL. Google indicates that permanent removal requires updating or deleting content, password-protecting the page, or using noindex.

What can I do if Google still shows an old ibero.center URL?

If the page was changed or removed, you can use Google’s official tool to refresh outdated content.

If the result contains personal information covered by Google policies, you can also use Google’s official flow to request removal of personal information from Search results.
